The healign brush is one of the most widely used tools for photo restoration. The beauty of the healing brush is that it can be used to remove small spots of dust and other small belmished with gret ease. the tool basically determines how the area should be heal by looking at the surrounding areas and using this information to determine how the area selected should be healed. this tool is best used for small spots and not really too good for larger areas as you will get some quirky results that will not look good ont he image. for larger areas it's probably best to go with the clone stamp which is explained on another page. the clone stamp is a tool that you will use often when it comes to photo restoration.
